外国议员眼中的中国式现代化｜萨摩亚国会议长：广东基层民主实践为萨摩亚提供了有益参照

　　由萨摩亚、库克群岛、基里巴斯、瑙鲁、纽埃、巴布亚新几内亚、所罗门群岛、斐济等8个国家的议员和议会官员日前到访广东。

　　在参观江门市江海基层立法联系点后，萨摩亚国会议长奥阿帕乌·莫利波拉认为中国强调社区建言、地方议事、透明协商的机制，与萨摩亚的议会传统和发展理念高度契合。广东的实践经验为萨摩亚提供了有益参照。

　　A delegation of lawmakers and parliamentary officials from eight countries - Samoa, the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Fiji - recently visited Guangdong.

　　After visiting the Jianghai District Grassroots Legislative Contact Station in Jiangmen, Auuapaau Mulipola Aloitafua Mulipola, speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa, said that China’s mechanisms emphasizing community input, local deliberation, and transparent consultation align closely with Samoa’s parliamentary traditions and development philosophy. Guangdong’s practical experience offers valuable reference for Samoa.
