外国议员眼中的中国式现代化 | 瑙鲁议会议员：瑙中复交为瑙鲁与广东合作提供机遇

　　来自斐济、基里巴斯、密克罗尼西亚联邦、瑙鲁、纽埃、巴布亚新几内亚、所罗门群岛、汤加、瓦努阿图9个太平洋岛国的议员日前到访广东多地，考察广东在可持续发展、农业科技和循环经济方面的创新实践，以及中国全过程人民民主在广东的实践。

　　今年1月，中国同瑙鲁签署关于恢复外交关系的联合公报，两国正式恢复大使级外交关系；3月，瑙鲁总统阿迪昂对中国进行国事访问，期间到访广东，成为春节以来首位访问广东的外国元首。

　　瑙鲁议员雷尼尔·加达布（Rennier Gadabu）表示，继瑙中复交后，广东成为瑙鲁的友好省份，人员往来的重启为经济合作等创造了宝贵机遇。

　　In January this year, China and Nauru signed a joint communique on the resumption of diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level. In March, Nauruan President David Adeang visited China, making him the first foreign head of state to visit Guangdong since the Spring Festival.

　　Nauru MP Rennier Gadabu told Daily Bae that following the restoration of diplomatic relations between Nauru and China, Guangdong has become a sister province for Nauru; the reopening of personnel exchanges has created valuable opportunities for economic exchanges and cooperation.
